slackware 10 进入X后注销屏幕黑掉的问题。

用startx进入gnome后，然后logout
屏幕就什么都没有了。
没有了提示符。

但是如果自己盲打
su
reboot
机器还是可以重新启动的。
也就是说它还是在工作，只是显示出了一些问题而已。
谁能帮我解决一下吗。

thanks, my motherboard is intel 845g, has a on board graphic card, I download it's driver form http://www.intel.com.
and config it using xorgcfg
now it works well
this is the first time for me to use slackware
and I have not installed fcix
I will go on and learn more.
