Scored Maps

Looking for a challenge? Or something a bit more linear? Scored maps are puzzle levels with a pre-set train schedule and track layout. You have one goal, and one goal only: get your trains to their destinations on time. These levels provide a variety of challenges, from simple routing situations to difficult sequencing puzzles. These levels are the same for everyone – so, go ahead and compete for the high score!

In-Game Map Editor

Have your own grand plans for a scored map? Looking to subject the community to your own wild machinations? You can! Rail Route comes with a built-in level editor – you’ve got access to the same tools we do! Recreate your favorite junction, build your hometown from scratch or design a rail network of your own. It’s up to you!

We’re in early access because we have so many ideas that we’d like to add before a full release! Our currently planned features include:

* Shunting – trains compositions, attaching / detaching of the cars

* Freight Yard Maps – handle the incoming and outgoing freight cars

* Map events – include a random event or a story line into your maps, make them more interesting

* More unlocks in the Endless Maps

Is that all? Of course not! That’s just a list of what we’ll be working on immediately! There are a ton of other ideas we’ve been throwing around for updates later in Rail Route’s life.
