　　Google Trends 虽然不是一个权威的流行判断指标，但是它绝对可以未来Ubuntu和Linux的发展趋势提供很多的参考点。正如下面你看到的Google Trends中显示的Ubuntu和Linux发展趋势截屏，到2010年Ubuntu和Linux的关注度跟Linux的很接近了。
　　图中间歇性的小高峰就是Ubuntu的发布周期。回顾Ubuntu所有的发布版中，Ubuntu10.04 代号Lucid Lynx 完全超越了上一版whisker。这是其他Linux发行版所不能超越的。
       Google Insight对于未来趋势的预测
        Google Insight(Google 搜索解析)具有从某种意义上具有预测未来的功能，你可以根据不同的关键字从Google Insight中得到以往的搜索数据，从而预测出未来不同的发展趋势。基本上该功能是通过可以从Google一个时期内的历史数据预测出未来一段时期内的发展趋势，以下是相同时期内Ubuntu和Linux的流行趋势图。

　　正如你从图中所看到的，在2010年后期Ubuntu的流行度明显超过了Linux。虽然不能够完全依赖Google Insight的分析结果，但是正如我之前说的，Google Insight是预测未来发展趋势的有利说服数据。

　　我快速分析了Fedora和Open SUSE等其他流行的Linux发行版，并和Ubuntu进行了对比。以下是我得出的对比结果。
