Ubuntu 8.04增加硬件测试功能

还在Alpha测试阶段Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy Heron近日再度更新了数量众多的软件包，还引入了一些新的软件，其中就包含Hardware Testing这个硬件测试工具。

早先我们在自己的电脑上安装使用Ubuntu时，需要自己手动测试相关硬件，以确认在Ubuntu下被正确识别并很好工作。
现在，通过新的HardwareTesing工具，我们不仅能在一个窗口非常方便地完成大多数硬件的测试，而且能非常灵活地提交自定义信息给Ubuntu开发中心，将硬件测试结果发送给Launchpad，从而让开发者能充分利用相关信息，提升Ubuntu的硬件支持能力。
硬件测试工具在“应用程序”，“系统”中：



欢迎界面，要求你有一个Launchpad的帐号，否则将只测试而不会发送硬件信息。

第一页即是选择平台，我是笔记本，它自动选择了笔记本。

测试声卡的界面，会放Ubuntu的登录声。注意，如果你的声卡有问题。可以把问题描述在Comment里。

这个工具虽小，不过对于Ubuntu的开发和进步是非常有帮助的，也看得出Ubuntu社区的用心所在：为了让Ubuntu能在更多的电脑上运行。
