盖茨新个人网站用Linux服务器？

10天前，从微软领导岗位上卸任的
比尔盖茨开通了一个名为“盖茨笔记”个人网站
，分享其个人思想和在科学、能源、慈善领域的交流。不过近日有网友发现，盖茨笔记网站的服务器似乎使用的是Linux操作系统。

根据网站服务器信息查询网站Netcraft显示的信息，盖茨笔记的服务器确实使用的是Linux操作系统。不过报告同时显示，该网站的Web服务器系统为微软IIS 7.0。这又是怎么回事呢？
事实上，盖茨笔记网站服务器本身使用的是Windows Server 2003系统。不过和很多大企业网站一样，它使用了Akamai公司的网站镜像加速服务。而Akamai服务器为Linux系统，这才导致了“盖茨网站用 Linux”的误解。早在2003年，就曾经出现过“微软网站用Linux”的新闻，后来查明那时候微软也只不过是使用了Akamai的加速服务，不过在 此事件出炉后不久，微软官网就全部迁移到公司自建的Windows Server服务器上。
