Responsibility & Requirements        Business Environment:
The Globalization group is responsible that HP BTO products will be internationalize and localized according to the internal standards. We deliver the HP products translated to various languages – up to more than 10 languages in parallel.
The role include technologies aspect, where we help product team to improve the product in G11N aspects, advice, guide and help them and sometimes take ownership on those assignments and project management aspect of leading the G11N efforts within G11N group and with core product team. The work is broad and involves communication with different parties in the company like: Local offices, Product Marketing, Core R&D and QA teams, Information Engineers, Production and Support of customers which allow exposure to business processes in the organization.
Main tasks:
1. Accompanying, supporting and monitoring the development process of core products so that they will stand up to the Internationalization standard and enable localization.
2. Assist product team to improve the G11N support within the product in guidance and coding work.
3. Assimilation of technology solution which developed within the G11N group into the product for better G11N support.
4. Full responsibility for releasing the product's localized version, from planning the release to signing on the CD.
5. Inspection and leading localization processes including interface management with inbound and outbound product/project stakeholders.
6. Releasing high quality localized products, working closely with QA teams.
7. Supporting customers
Requirements:
Must to have skills:
1. Master Java, esp. J2EE (Servlet, JDBC Driver)
2. Familiar with .Net(C#)
3. Understanding in Unicode concept
4. Familiar with SQL
5. Strong problem resolving skill.
6. Knowledgeable in and sensitive to multilingual and multicultural issues.
Nice to have
1. Familiar with DB Upgrade (Oracle, SQL Server)
2. Has basic understanding to C++
3. Project management experiences.
