重新引导问题

今天换了台机子重新安装linux，这之前先安了windows 2000.等linux安装完毕后，让我重新引导系统，我点击重新引导后，出现了我从未遇到过的问题，怎么试也不行，所以只好求助于大家了。出现的问题如下：
[Minimal BASH-like line editing is Supported. For the first word,TAB lists possible commond completions . Anywhere else TAB list s the possible completions of a device/filename]
grub>（光标闪动）

我试了commond lists 中的所有指令，全不行。我在grub>后输入了root (hd0,7)出现如下提示：
selected cylindervexceeds maximum supported by bios.
我真不知该怎么办了，求大家帮助

1.放入linux启动盘
2.输入linux resuce (按f5查看信息好像不是这么拼的)
3.启动后 grub_install /dev/hda
4.没有什么错误后,重新启动

不知可行不

是拼错了，应该是linux rescue

可我用光盘装的，没作启动盘呀，有没有别的办法呀。

就是用第一张光盘修改复的。

你的意思是说用第一长光盘进行修复原有linux系统吧，我还真没试过，不过现在装上了，斑竹你记得不我树的那个mizi linux2.0 sdk那42 个软件包呀，我怎么只装上了8个，其他的34格在另一文件夹，点击install pockege 时那34个没反应，考怎么回事呀，前8个已经安装上了，可是后34个怎么也装不上，郁闷
