POSITION:        DTV Application Development Engineer

ORGANISATION:       
We are looking to hire a number of innovative Digital TV application development engineers who could share their core values: Teamwork, Speed, Hard-working, Innovation and Quality. He/she will head for development of Digital TV product, including network operators’ requirements survey, product design, application software development, DTV product authentication and field test. He/she will also be involved in China DTV standardization work and DTV product promotion activities.

LOCATION:        Beijing

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:       
As a DTV engineer to participate in a DTV product development project working on Embedded DTV appliances:

•        Design, develop, test and debug DTV software.
•        Work for DTV product authentication procedure (Documents preparation / test support)
•        Cooperate with other DTV technology providers for system integration (Porting / Test).
•        Support China Local network operators to promote DTV (Requirements survey / information gathering / demonstration / product field test).
•        Participate into China DTV standardization activities.
•        Output patents.


QUALIFICATIONS:       
The successful candidate should have experience in DTV/Broadcasting industry, and working experience in DTV software development & product development is preferred.

The ideal candidate should be a University degree holder in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related disciplines.

•        Team-oriented.
•        Experience in  embedded software development or UNIX/Linux software development is preferred.
•        General knowledge on DTV standard / technologies, DTV system integration experience is preferred.
•        Fluent in written English, good spoken English is preferred.
•        Good communication skills are desirable.
•        Have basic knowledge about Intellectual Property issues.
