安装Gentoo 2006.1 Stage3后无法启动：No init fount

由于Gentoo LiveCD无法识别RTL8168/8111 PCI-E网卡，所以才用Hiweed 1.0从硬盘启动，按照http://www.gentoo.org的Quick install Guide http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-...ickinstall.xml 安装后重新启动提示：
Kernel panic - not syncing : No init found
Try passing init=option
Unable to open an initial console
在网上也查找到相关文档，但没有一个能完全解决问题。

采用最新的2.6.19.2内核，编译时将ext2、ext3和reiserfs全部编译到内核。
采用1月16日更新的portage.
/dev/sda9 ext2 /boot 50M
/dev/sda10 swap 1000M
/dev/sda11 reiserfs /
grub.conf文件内容如下：
default 0
timeout 3
#splashimage=(hd0,8)/grub/splash.xpm.gz
title=Gentoo
root (hd0,8)
kernel /boot/kernel root=/dev/sda9

title=Windows XP
rootnoverify (hd0,0)
chainloader +1
在/sbin目录下查找到init文件，在grub.conf中加上init /dev/sda11/sbin/init也不行。

请问如何可以解决呢？
