安装显卡驱动出错,求助!

我刚从ATI官网下了最新的9600驱动,按以下安装:
安装编译驱动所需的环境
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install module-assistant build-essential
sudo apt-get install fakeroot dh-make debconf libstdc++5 linux-headers-$(uname -r)

创建安装包
sudo ./ati-driver-installer-8..39.4-x86.x86_64.run --buildpkg debian/testing
到这步出错:
The distribution `debian` is not supported
removing temporary directory

还请大哥们帮下我要怎么做.

把debian改成Debian。

dpkg -i /usr/src/fglrx-kernel*.deb
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg (select fglrx driver)

then restart X
