虚拟机安装linux的问题！

就是安装vm tool 的问题。
我没有用vm自带的iso文件，自己从网上下载了一个beta版，
用闪存安装的，输入startx后，虚拟机跳出警告：

随后，回到命令行，不能进入x。。请问原因？

后来用iso安装时，，mount: block device /dev/cdrom is write-protected mounting read-only
为什么？？

你怎么会没有自带的ISO？
用自带的话应该不会有问题的，那句话时正常的。

vmware的手册中有详细的说明，可在其网站下载(pdf格式)，和帮助中的内容是一样的。

不过，我通过添加串口，添加了猫，，不过在linux下面调试可以听到拨号音，，不过，实际连接就不行了，，为什么？

联网模式用的是NAT吗？

用NAT最方便，用DHCP，几乎不用配置
