我为什么不能同时使用apt和yum？

我的同学使用Debian，而我使用FC3，刚刚知道有个apt的东东。
便去网上下了来，安装设置，终于可以使用apt的图形程序synaptic了。
突然在synaptic中发现已经有了yum，之前我也只听说yum和apt差不多。
但不知道是FC3自带的。于是也设置了一下，不能用。导入GPG也没用。
注意：之前用apt时没导入GPG。apt和yum的list地址不同。
第二天起来后啥也没改改动，运行了一下yum check-update，发现可以用了。
但没用yum update或install等命令进行实质性安装。
过一段时间后我想用synaptic，竟然说是“段错误”，apt-get也用不了。
我尝试把/etc/apt/gpg目录的文件转移，也没用。
难道apt和yum只能选择其一？？？
yum现在可以使用。

听说yum是FC3的，而apt是Debian的机制。
我是不是用FC3自带的会好一点？

段错误和 gpg 肯定是没有关系的，apt 和 yum 也绝对不会互相影响
你不妨把 apt 升级一下
看看 fedora-extras 仓库的 apt 和 synaptics 是不是好用？

我用的就是从fedora-extras里下的，

运行了yum search apt，部分显示：

使用了笨方法，用yum来重装apt和synaptic后，synaptic又可以用了。
真是怪事。
