how to install fcitx correctly after upgrade dropline-gnome

thanx windors first! thank u for your help, i have finnished chinese location in slack,it`s so beautiful !
but there seems another question:fcitx can`t work,i have tried all the recommand tips in our bbc and in http://www.fcitx.org.
and i have tried three editions of fticx,one of the tips said :after upgrate dropline-gnome ,one should reupgrate gtk back to old gtk,i think maybe this is the key it is,but i don`t know to use the upgratepkg,i just type" upgratepkg gtk",and OS tell me there is no package named gtk ,pls give some step by step tips.
and sorry for use engish white this article ,i just want live in slackware,so can`t use chinese.

你把它cp到 /etc/gtk-2.0/ ，看看能不能解决问题。

谢谢windrose的支持，拷贝过去以后立竿见影，现在我就是在slack的dropline-gnome下用fcitx了。呵呵，看来毛病就出在升级以后gtk.immodules文件丢失。现在我要去给老婆做饭了，等晚上空下来，好好看看gtk.immodules文件里都写些什么，and how it works.争取弄明白原理

对，看看它和dropline之后的文件有什么不同之处，今后直接修改就行了，不必那么费劲。研究成果一定要和大家共享哟。

I immediately upgraded to dropline-gnome after I install the slackware 9.1. I found there is a gtk.immodules in /etc/gtk-2.0 which is no different with yours. I tried to install fcitx but got a message which told me 'undefined library libiconv'. Then I appended '-iconv' to 'LIBS=....' and made the installation successful. But I only got the letters I have just typed in when I try to input chinese.

btw: I don't want use the firefly patches, but the chinese character seems ugly. why
