is it possible to install freebsd 5.X.X from hardisk?

i have not cdr-rom~~~~~~~`

i read some articals about how to install freebsd 4.x.x from hardisk but some of them also said the method can not be used in fd 5.x.x~~
i don't want to use vm too~!
