problems after installing

after installing, in the kde environment, i feel it too slow, how does this happen? my sdram is 256M, before, i use other linux platforms, this hasn't happend. sorry can't input chinese now.

sometimes,upgrade to new kerenl(actually 2.6.5) will resolve this problem....
