Add support for loading XNU (MacOS X kernel).

ACPI override support.

Integrated gptsync.

Password protection support.

Partition manipulation tool.

Add `keystatus' command.

update-grub is replaced by grub-mkconfig.

When booting from PXE, PXE can be used to load files.

Use LZMA compression instead of LZO.

Support for saving the environment from and loading the environment from a file.

Allow the UUID to be used as device name.

The `search' command can use UUIDs now.

grub-mkconfig supports os-prober to add operating systems to the boot menu.

The ATA driver supports devices bigger than 2 TiB.

bean有个g2ldr可以用,不过还是习惯grub1了,搞不懂为啥要换configfile的格式

这个倒无所谓,不是有grub4dos么.或者先用grub1来载入grub2,基本不会出现系统崩溃的情况,至少比折腾kernel glibc安全的多

装UBUNTU 9.10 BETA直接将我硬盘的grub4dos改成了GRUB2, 还算不错, 它自动将硬盘上的所有OS都加入了启动菜单(包括WINDOWS XP, ARCHLINUX) !

到现在倒没什么问题, 只是感觉比grub4dos慢 :(

GRUB2和GRUB4DOS我的感觉是定位不同，单纯的比是没有意义的，看使用环境决定

GRUB4DOS將來如果不能支持LVM和更多新的文件系統，那就越來越無用了。GRUB2雖然大點，但還至於無法接受。

也不知道现在 Win7，VISTA支不支持GRUB4DOS

嗯，雖然用了好久Windows7，但還沒試過這樣。現在的啟動管理器bootmgr比較複雜，所以從沒想過要用它來啟動Linux。

反正grub4dos的grldr.mbr我很喜欢,写到MBR能在任意分区找grldr,不愁找不到stage1.5

GRUB2的配置文件已經腳本化，命令也增加了很多，類似功能，已經不難實現。不過grub4dos的一些特有命令的確很有趣。

我用最近版本的grub2从来不成功 “entering rescue mode”
一直都只能用200812那个版本的不过够用了背景图片中文显示都ok 就是中文字体太难看可能是下的字库的问题

bootmgr来启动grub4dos当然可行,不过我是用grub4dos启动bootmgr
