hello to all,
1.The method of installing:
#apt-get install fcitx
2.I can exactly start it by run "fcitx" in konsole,and a fcitx bar appears,but I can't even activate it.
I search "fcitx" in this forum ,but it seems that there wasn't anybody who met and had solved it.
Any help will be appreciated.

$ lynx /usr/share/doc/fcitx/readme.htm 或者去 http://www.fcitx.org

第一，编辑/etc/environment文件，加上：
XMODIFIERS="@im=fcitx"
XIM=fcitx
XIM_PROGRAM=fcitx
LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.GB2312
第二，要让fcitx在kde起动前运行，别在kconsole中运行，那样不起作用！

change the locale to GBK. Fcitx seems doesnt work under GB2312!

I have tryed serveral locales,but it didn't work.
I just start it in KDE by run "fcitx" or "fcitx&",and both two didn't work.

If I must start it before X ,how can I run it ,just run "fcitx" or configure it in some profiles.

any help will be appreciated.

but diffrently,I can run "fcitx" in kconsole
and I added "LANG=zh_CN" in the file /etc/environment
and my file is :
LANG=zh_CN
XMODIFIERS="@im=fcitx"
XIM=fcitx
XIM_PROGRAM=fcitx
LC_CTYPE=zh_CN.GB2312

the next step is to configure fcitx ,and make it run automatically.
