为什么我的鼠标总是用不了啊？我想哭了

从光盘装了Debian
然后通过同学的光盘升级内核到2.6.6
再装上XFree86的4.4.0
但我不知道为什么我的鼠标就是动不了
这是我的XF86Config-4，大家帮忙看一下

首先在内核中input 加入mouse支持，在usb支持中加入 mouse支持。

但startx后，鼠标在里面就是不动
我都搞了几天，今天又搞了一下午
脑晕晕的，连到饭堂打饭时都把菜名说错了
估计那饭堂的人会是一生中唯一一次听到这样菜名：）

12号开始接触Linux，到现在也有一周了
其间装了多少次系统，我自己都不记得了
还试过一次Fedora Core2，感觉很不错
但我不喜欢它什么东西都帮我做好了，这样好像学不了什么东西
就像在用Windows一样
个人感觉用debian会能学到更多的东西
毕竟我现在用Linux是为了学习的
回过来看一下，这一周用Debian可谓充满挫折感
每天都被打击，没办法，谁叫我蠢呢
不过，我还是很感谢Linuxsir里的各位前辈
给了我不少帮助和鼓励，使我得以继续下去
这里的气氛很好，我很喜欢
现在虽然还是特级菜鸟
但我还是会很笨拙的用一些工具了
只是里面有很多东西我都不明白为什么要这样
只知道依照样子画葫芦
不过我会努力去学习的
现在首先是要让鼠标动起来
打造一个desktop
然后将Linux进行到底！！！

但，如果没选上的话

是重新编译吗？

但是出现了很多错误
是否要重装系统呢？

如果编译内核，那么又是哪一些具体的选项要选上呢？

重装 == 失败

应该是内核的问题吧，要不先换到旧版的软件(xfree4.3)，一个一个的排除，别忙着一次升级多个软件。其实xfree4.4比4.3没有大改进，何必升级？

你还可以安装hotplug这类自动检测硬件的包，开机时它会搜一次，应该能自动加载正确模块，如果能行，lsmod，看是什么模块。

装 mdetect试试。

如果是2.6的,你要启动X,需要加载以下几个模块smouse,mousedev,usbmouse
2.4的内核没有这种问题,但2.6却有,想起来真是有点郁闷

应该是这几个模块:
psmouse,mousedev,usbmouse

需要安装hotplug软件包。
需要安装uhci，hid模块。
需要有mice设备文件，一般安装了上面东西，就自动帮你生成了mice设备文件。

我只是2.4的内核，不一定适合你。

vi /etc/modules
添加psmouse mousedev usbmouse ，每个占一行，保存
打命令加载：
modprobe psmouse
modprobe mousedev
modprobe usbmouse

运气好的话，启动X就能进入X－WINDOW

运行：
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86 运行选取相应鼠标。选好一次启动一次X，重复，直至进入X

我现在升级到了2.6.5的内核，主要是使用video for linux v2来编程。
发现在2.4.26中可以使用的鼠标滚轮不能用了，其他的正常。
X中是这样配置鼠标的：

请教各位英雄，如何解决该问题？

我说的上述问题已经通过linuxsir网站论坛上一个讨论mandrake的论坛上找到答案。
因为我的是usb鼠标，除了上述3个模块以外还增加了uhci-hcd模块，位于usb host类别中。
之后我的滚轮只能用一个朝下的方向键，于是将X的配置文件改为：

Driver "mouse"

Option "Device" "/dev/mouse"

运行startx之后就可以了。

另外要记住，使用auto要安装mdetectde。

我发现使用auto会有个怪现象，就是启动x时必须动几下鼠标，不然无法鼠标到桌面时不能动。
于是我运行了mdetect得到了
/dev/psaux
intellimouse的结果。
于是我将xfree86cfg-4文件中鼠标的部分
设备的名称再改为/dev/psaux
协议再改为“ImPS/2”
奇迹发生了，usb鼠标象以前在2.4的内核一样运行自如了，没有任何不方便了。

我现在用两个鼠标,一个PS/2 一个USB.
最开始时只有一个ps的,后来modconf把相应mod加了进来,重启就有了.

我曾经自己编译内核，鼠标死活搞不定。不过用apt-get install kernel-iamge-2.6*就没问题。
