my sarge installation process

installation process:
0 backup my documents to my office pc hardware
1 download woody and burn 1 cd
2 install bf24 but woody cant support my laptop's hardware (a/v card)
3 abort woody
4 download sarge and burn 1 cd
5 install sarge with kernel 2.6.8 (en)
6 install desktop and mail server, then remove kde - my 830m video and ac97 sound card work well now
7 configure pppoe(note:ifconfig eth0 0.0.0.0 if use adsl)
8 install zh and reconfigure locale
9 view the chinese web pages
10 work under debian system

conclusion: sarge is better than woody if your pc is not a server but a workstation.
