Hybrid image file is provided, which include
i686 and x86_64 core repository. Please check md5sum before using it.

Hybrid image file is a standard CD-burnable image and also a raw disk image.
- Can be burned to CD(RW) media using most CD-burning utilities.
- Can be raw-written to a drive using 'dd' or similar utilities.
This method is intended for use with USB thumb drives.

官方好像还是2009.8月的～～～

这是archboot，不是archlinux-2009.08-core-i686.img

无所谓 一个命令就是最新了

archboot这个是什么意思？是官方的吗？

就是2008.3及以前的官方默认安装系统，硬盘安装比较方便，我一直用这个。

还有就是，archboot的发布比正常的安装程序频繁的多，几个月就发布一份最新的更新，省去了安装后要几乎立刻更新整个base

我倒觉得这不是坏事。

如果你不能找到一个合适的站点，能够以你可以接受的速度下载整个 base 的话，那么你多半也很难坚持一直把 arch 用下去的。因为用 arch 基本就意味着你经常需要下载大量的更新。

所以，这个过程可以看作是一种优胜劣汰过程。不能接受这个过程的，多半不会继续使用 arch。
