有没有人直接挂载iso安装成功的?

下载一个cd上的内核, initrc.img
下载iso但不解开
用grub启动, 挂载iso, 进行硬盘安装

有没有人成功的, 好像10.1, 10.2都成功不了
还没开始安装包,就直接提示安装成功了!!

当然，解开和mount我还是分得清的，你可以参考一下Slackware安装的FAQ，Shadkong翻译过，你在论坛搜索一下吧。用shadkong用户名，mount iso作关键词，限定在Slackware版面。

Q: How do I install from the ISO9660 image if I don't have a CD-R or CD-RW drive (or "I have no way to burn this image that I just downloaded.")?

With loopback of course! You can mount the ISO9660 image on the kernel loopback device from another filesystem.

For example, say you download the ISO9660 image under Windows. Boot the Slackware boot and root disks for your system. Assuming your Windows partition is /dev/hda1 and you downloaded the ISO9660 image to C:, issue these commands:

mkdir -p /dos
mount -t vfat /dev/hda1 /dos
cd /dos
mknod /dev/loop0 b 7 0
mkdir /INSTALL
mount -o loop /dos/install.iso /INSTALL

You can then tell the Slackware setup program to install from a premounted directory and pass it /INSTALL/slakware. This trick can also be used if you cannot make a valid CD with your burner.

This one I know. You still need a working linux running in order to do this (use some existing installation or boot from cdrom or floppy).

I thought you can mount iso from grub. Wanted to know how.

不需要现有Linux，只需grub(grub4dos)

no, you dont have grub to mount iso ( so far, it cannot mount iso yet)
download slackware-11.0-cd1.iso
download isolinux/initrd.img
dowoload kernels/bare.i/bzImage
put them hda1
you have a grub ? yes you did !

initrc hda1/initrd.img
boot

then you come in the live slackware,
do following the FAQ which i post above !
i think that is a amazing way to slackware,
but unfortunately i try that on 10.1, 10.2, none of them successed.

我装slackware11就是从挂ISO安装的。
用到就是官方FAQ里的方法，注意要指定到镜像里的slackware文件夹。
这样好像只能用到第一张光碟，后两张需要在系统运行后，用intallpkg或者相应install脚本安装。

To terree:
cd1 可以的话,cd2, cd3 也应该没问题把
当提示你插入cd2的时候, Alt+f2 换个控制台登录, umount cd1 & mount cd2
再切回alt+f1, 回车继续

一个想法而已, 没试过

跟本就不会提示你插入CD2，因为，安装程序只找到了CD1上的软件。
我的经验就是这样的，安装程序选择软件包的时候就没有看见kde和kdei。

可是CD1上的软件已经包括一个比较完整的系统了。

可以不必这样用虚拟机安装选择物理硬盘不要选　虚拟硬盘，这样就可以用盘了，也就是ISO。不过慢点。安装成功后就可以直接重启硬盘引导。
