gdm
安装了gnome 和 kde(可以使用）
我只装了X和桌面两项用的是tasksel
－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－－
用root进入Gnome 出现欢迎的logo （就是那个大脚印）*出了个错误对话框关掉后 Gnome没有任何反应只有背景
我改过/etc/gdm/gdm.conf
AllowRoot=True
用普通用户也进不去Gnome

错误提示：
There was an error starting the GNOME Settings Daemon .
Some thing,such as themes,sounds,or background Settings may not work correctly .
The last error message was :
Failed to activate `OASIID:GNOME_SettingsDaemon` GNOME will still try to restart the settings Daemon next time you log in .

因为gnome2.2的control center包尚未进入sarge
你可以从 http://packages.debian.org/unstable/...ol-center.html 下载一个unstable里的gnome-control-center包，覆盖sarge里的gnome1.4的control center
