配置x图形界面，运行startx出现no screens found信息

我是第一次用debian，配置x图形界面时，出现了no screens found信息，不能进入x图形界面，请问一般会是什么问题。谢谢！

一般都是显卡驱动不对。

和我的差不多了，
但是我可以打开x,但是到鼠标，键盘的时候就推出来了

这跟linux/freebsd没关系...
什么叫"显卡和显示器不适合的原因"? 看不懂...

如果有条件，最简单的方法就是用knoppix启动一下，把那个自动生成的XF86Config-4拷过来

我用的是一台老的台式机.
我以前装过redhat，好象没这么烦。都说bedian比较好，就试试了，呵呵。。

debian上的x配置不够智能化的确是个问题

另外，这个linux distro叫debian，不是bedian或什么其它的....

我原来在vmware里边庄debian的时候，apgport没有加载，就会出现
这样的情况，兄弟你看看你的这些agppart都有吧

你可以试下如下的步骤：
在root用户下 ：
type:
dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xfree86
进入到配置界面。
在选择位深时，选择16，而不是24。一般会出现x界面，只不过难看点。如果这一步可以实现，那么说明你的内核不支持你的主板的显卡驱动。否则，只能是你的操作上出了问题了。

是显卡驱动的 问题吧，我刚装的 时候也是这个现象
后来装好NVIDIA驱动后就能启动X了

才弄妥这个，把XF86Config-4（最原始那个，因为偶弄来弄去都配不了，就找回原始的。）
里边 [device]下的有下什么FSB那一词删了就了。

我也是这样的问题 装了最基本的系统之后只装了 x-window-system-core elinks fvwm vim zhcon 然后startx 出现和楼主一样的提示 目前正在装nvidia驱动中

非常郁闷 在debian下怎么安装nvidia驱动? 是不是和别的发行版一样下载 NVIDIA***.run 来安装? 或通过apt? 为什么我下了驱动 运行时提示 cannot execute binary file?

你可以把显卡驱动先换成vesa试试。

一般情况下，XFxf86config-4文件改过一次后，就不能用dpkg-reconfigure-xfree86 改动，
用cp /etc/X11/XF86config-4 /etc/X11/XF86config-4.custom
