我的终端提示符变成了这样子：sh-2.05b$

在gnome下，很难看啊，原来在kde下不是这样的。下面是/etc/profile文件的一段，好象没什么不正常：

if [ "$SHELL" = "/bin/pdksh" ]; then
PS1='! $ '
elif [ "$SHELL" = "/bin/ksh" ]; then
PS1='! ${PWD/#$HOME/~}$ '
elif [ "$SHELL" = "/bin/zsh" ]; then
PS1='%n@%m:%~%# '
elif [ "$SHELL" = "/bin/ash" ]; then
PS1='$ '
else
PS1='\u@\h:\w\$ '
fi
PS2='> '
export PATH DISPLAY LESS TERM PS1 PS2

Do
$ . /etc/profile

See if PS1 changes back to "normal". If yes, it means your gnome terminal session did not call /etc/profile.

打开Gnome terminal, Edit -> Current Profile ->Title and Command -> 把Run Command as a login shell选上。
