在fedora2下编译ape失败，显示glib>1.2.2不存在

当编译libxmms时运行
./configure时显示如下错误：
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.2... no
*** The glib-config script installed by GLIB could not be found
*** If GLIB was installed in PREFIX, make sure PREFIX/bin is in
*** your path, or set the GLIB_CONFIG environment variable to the
*** full path to glib-config.
configure: error: *** GLIB >= 1.2.2 not installed - please install first ***

运行rpm -qa |grep glib可以找到安装有glib-1.2.10，请问如何解决？谢谢！

我在编译xmms时也出现这种信息，真不知什么原因。请知道的朋友指教一下。

有glib-devel吗？

今天重新安装了RedHat 9.0后发现可以正常编译，怪事。还有是中文输入法比FC2的好看多了，功能很正常。
