无法从usb硬盘引导centos

安装完centos后，把硬盘放进usb硬盘盒子，从usb引导的时候不能启动
kernel panic - not attempted to kill init

作为本地硬盘引导没有问题，硬盘盒子也没有问题，因为同一块盘上的windows7 ubuntu都可以正常从usb引导

启动到哪个步骤的时候出的问题？
是用的grub引导的么？
grub比windows的启动复杂，windows只认active分区，而grub要从MBR找到第二阶段引导程序的。
会不会是因为你用usb启动的时候，设备名称被改变了？

好像是没有挂载上分区，我用的centos是5.5，内核版本是194，是不是需要重新编译内核

应该不是grub的问题，我用grub4dos或者ubuntu10.04的grub2都可以正常引导这个移动硬盘的windows7和ubuntu，唯独不能引导centos

setuproot : srror mounting /sys : no such file or directory
switchroot : mount failed : no such file or directory
