8G RAM is quite the min nowadays.

Mac's newest OS will put many of the screens to the background, so users can swipe to get them back again within mini sec for enhancing user experience. The action will need heaps of memory than 4GB memory.

Right, actually I was pretty disappointed when I found the standard price still start with 4GB

Yes. Also, I'll prefer to get 256GB harddisk or higher (I'll choose 512GB but however not available). One can use up the 128GB harddisk quite easily within 1 year.
