share everything and share nothing

初入DBA这个行业，今天无意间在网上看见这两个词语！忘各位大虾对这两种架构给予一定讲解········拜谢！

RAC is share-everything. That is, any node's CPU's, memory, storage can be used by another node. That's my understanding. SQL Server, on the other hand, is share-nothing; each node has its own hardware resource.
