请问如何编译gnulib

请问各位大牛如何编译gnulib，我在gnulib里面的install文档看了第一步是找到源代码的地方，然后./configure，但是里面没有configure，所以configure不了。谢谢各位指教。

gnulib以源代码发布，不能单独编译吧？
一般是将需要的组件加到自己的源代码目录。
