这个服务器开1500个hosting，可以跑得起来么

想购买bluehost的hosting，问了一下服务器配置，主要配置如下：
8x AMD Opteron-6168 12Core (Processor)
1x Super Micro AS -2122TG-HTRF (Chassis, Motherboard, Heatsinks)
16x 8 GB DDR3-133 ECC / REG (Memory)
12x WD1500BLFS (Hard Drives)
8x Samsung 256GB SSD (SSD Drives)
4x LSI 9280-4i4E (Sata Controller)
4x LSIIBBU07 (Controller Battery)

Storage Array:
2x External JBOD Chassis- 4u 45Bay SAS (Chassis)
90x 2TB Hitach 3.5" (Hard Drives)

感觉这个配置高得离谱，对方说，一个Server上开1500个hosting。问题如下：

一、这个配置的服务器，可信么？
二、这种配置，1500个日IP在5000左右的PHP站点，跑起来怎么样？

补充：BlueHost的hosting都是各种unlimited的。尤其是不限每个hosting的sites数。个人感觉并不是很好。但是毕竟是个老牌子，而且，好像找不到限制Bandwidth、Storage及各种的机器了。是不是技术的进步促成的？难道是我落伍了？
