Debian 5.0.6 cannot detect network device?

I want to install debian 5.0.6 on my laptop Fujitsu SH760.
But the installation programme cannot detect my ethernet network card,
hence it cannot connect to internet.

Also, after installation, it become prompt mode instead of graphic mode.

how to fix it?
