Is this spec ok? I need a very powerful machine that I plan to use for the next 6 years. 25,388/6=$4,231. $4k per year is not too bad yeah?
For the MacBook Air 11'' I'm using right now is almost 3 years old and I paid under $9,000. That's only $3k per year and if I can use it for another year, it will be $2250...Am I spending too much for this model? Please help. [img] snagit[/img]

Heavy duty production or just office work?

Use it for all types of work & play, 100 internet browsers + many excel spreadsheets + other demanding software running together at once.

also need to use bootcamp to install windows on it.
Need to install all the latest games for testing

so do you think it is better to buy a lower model and use it for 3 years rather than a high end model and use for 6 years? It will be cheaper that way?
So if I get a low end 15'' with 512 gb SSD. $17,628/3= $5876 per year. 4 years = $4,470.
I am not so sure about it.There is also the resale value or terminal value I haven't factored in.
