可以点搞？
因为我系用同一个HDD做TM同BACKUP，但BACKUP个到睇到开到完全冇问题
如果系咁要FORMAT，可不可以只FORMAT TM个部份
如果不能咁我系咪要买多只HDD 専做TM
另一只做BACKUP

可以只FORMAT TM个部份, 用disk utilities...

I just backup whatever I have on that and re-format it.

Again, no matter what brand and how new is the hdd, you need at least "1" backup.

I have a Synology NAS - 2TB, and TC - 2TB, I have 2x 2.5" Seagate ext. hdd 2TB to backup the files on them.

It is ~US$120 for each Seagate 2TB 2.5".

By the way, Mac Activity just did a data recovery for a Buffalo 1TB hdd with password protection for me... the damage is HK$5000+800 for the new Lacie external hdd.

Yes, backup the data on it asap.

I would invest on a NAS in your case, then use this hdd as a backup hdd for the NAS.
