Still struggling which one i should pick, Will pay in 24 installments so only about 100HKD difference per month.

But i'm not professional user and MBPr seems too advance to me?

重量真系差少少，但快左同最紧要个 retina...真系靓好多，我之前买左 mba 11', 过左几日都返去换左 mbpr 13'.

For leisure users, like word processing, surfing the web etc, then use MBA.

If you hv more complicated work like lots of Photoshop, Illustrator, apps development, then MB Pro.

Retina or light weight, it is your call.

If your target is 13", I would go for Retina.

Because I don't see what is the purpose of MBA 13" these days, you might able to get the answer easier if the choices were MBA 11" or MBPr 13".

Yes, weight won't be not a big difference for me, since I seldom bring then out

It is not just the weight, also the size, it does matter when you have to put them in a bag.

Since your options were 13" Air or 13" Retina and they are about the same size.

MBA is fast enough for daily use. Also, it has a longer standby time. So, don't waste the extra $$ if u don't need the extra functionality from MB Pro.

Spend the extra $$$ fm MB Pro on MBA to the highest configuration - i7 processor, 8 MB ram, 500GB harddisk. You can't upgrade the ram later as the ram is soldiered on the mother board. I hv the MBA with the highest configuration, and very very fast and good.

Wait until tomorrow (Thurs) and Apple has a back-to-school discount. Ask you student friend to buy one for you.
