Also want to ask how to change the share permission of the ext HD from read only to read and write?

I have tried to change in system preference but it doesn't allow me to change...

Right click on the ext hdd...

Try one or any combinations
1. tick Share Folder
2. add Permission
3. Ignore Ownership

Actually I can't find the lock icon and the "Ignore ownership'" option...

After I upgrade to Mavericks, this drive can only read only.....

First try Repair Permission, if failed then reformat the disk

Herein below one disk into 3 partitions : 2 bootable, one for media

你是 WINDOWS NTFS 格式嘛！
Mac by default 要加外挂程式才可读/写。例如 Paragon NTFS for Mac。

(我无试过) 网上说可以在 terminal enable read write
有兴趣可 google:
"mac sudo nano /etc/fstab"
"osx enable ntfs read write"

想搭单问：我只 USB HDD (行紧 H/W RAID 1 : 2 X 3TB ／ USB 3.0) 开机时会认唔到，要换过个 USB 插口先认得...
