Any high performance Laptop of Asus recommend?
I would like to have a light weight, high performance laptop.

where is the best place to buy in HK? can show me?

No notebook can have high performance is light
I think that i7 low voltage CPU is already the limit

mainly engineering drawing, No gaming,

I want a solid laptop, i might bring it outside, I want it can handle impact.
In my mind, Thinkpad and Asus are quite durable.

I think i7 version of thinkpad x1 carbon is a good choice

if you are not urgent,
I think you should wait a moment for x3
which is the next generation for x1

I think that if you can afford to 2 kg
dell 5470 can be also a consideration
as there is graphic card which may enhance the speed

i dont like dell,
i have walked around the pc centre , i cant find any x1, when will x3 release?
btw, how about asus? do u think that is a good brand for high performance laptop?

If you want Asus high performance Laptop, you may take a look at Asus Zenbook Prime UX31A........Golden Centre is cheaper........

what engineering software will you mainly be using?
static CAD or modelling?

it may below 2 kg
and also have i7 cpu

I'm using a 2-years old Asus N53S 15.6" FHD i7 with 16GB RAM and 512GB SSD. I also use Inventor and a slew of other engineering software. No complaint whatsoever.
