Android not so much. Google does. Revenue from mobile ad is still very high from iOS platform.

This is an age of co-copetition. You compete with each other in some area, and you work with each other on other areas. Microsoft has a team dedicated to writing mac apps. Google has a team dedicated to write iOS apps. In US, surprising number of people started to use the default Apple maps and Google's map in the app store is a counter to that, not a way for Google to help Apple.

Skype is a Microsoft property and Skype is available on the App Store, and nobody's saying that Apple depends on Microsoft. So here's the same deal.

My point's probably lost to a lot of people here, but if one person, in this case yourself, get what I'm saying it's cool. Plus writing is a good way to let yourself think more clearly on a certain topic anyways and it takes like 2 seconds to do so. ;)

你个比例错左, 换另一句, samsung 咪又一样用google map ,youtube,
sony , htc, 都一样系google map, youtube
所以呢个比例唔成立

Google earns more on ios than android . That is the ironic point.

Google pays Apple 1 BILLION USD every year for ios safari default search engine set to be GOOGLE.

Google relies on Apple so much , it must pay Apple to please it.
