about exchange archive

I setup some user for auto archive in Ms office 2010.

But seem it didn't run it everyday when I start the outlook,anyway, I have click the archive button to do it.

But if archived the database, I Need do any compact in the server side? seem the server side mailbox still not reduce.

1)try to update hotfix/patch for Outlook2010

2) Check w/exchange server admin

by the way, if I setup auto archive in everyday, which time it will run?

such as idle time/ when I startup the outlook / 12:00 pm?

Outlook 上面做个Archive 系指
将一D旧既Email抽走佢去另一度
同Exchange 个DB 完全无关

如果想Exchange 个DB deduct size.系另一样野来的

oh ic, so if my mailbox archived, the server mailbox will reduce the sizes too or not? thanks
we are worry about the server no space.
