特别系iOS...
iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone, iPod Touch咩都齐
但系我对今次嘅WWDC真系完全失望.

Steve Jobs离开嘅时候我已经觉得不妙
但唔想跟风, 就放长双眼睇吓Tim Cook搞成点.
但我见倒嘅系基本上冇一样嘢做得好...
iPhone 4S完全冇惊喜
推到行嘅Siri根本大部份人都唔会用
得我一个硬胶胶周围喺街度禁Siri出嚟讲嘢
由於小弟长居海外, 英文还过得去, 所以Siri都comprehend倒我讲乜
但系成个system真系好差
唔单止慢到想死
好多时d结果仲令人O咀不过当佢系dictation嚟打字都还可以但都系慢...
OK, iOS 6嘅Siri又话有改善
加咗好多新功能
结果呢?...
d功能唔太实用不在讲(好老实讲句, 我买戏飞点会叫Siri帮我买? 我睇球赛结果自己上个网睇几秒睇完啦洗咩用Siri咁on _ _)
仲要好多只限美国先用倒...
而且速度依然慢到呕.
仲有个广东话版真系笑能死人.
任何一个土生土长嘅香港人都唔会觉得佢嘅对答系正常...
唯一正常嘅就系同佢爆粗佢好似会话咩"唔好咁啦"咁样-.-

算, 我就当Voice Control呢个technology未成熟.
我亦都暂且唔怪Apple曾经话自己只会将成熟咗嘅features拎出嚟献世
但其他方面呢?...

醒觉了！

1. 我真系想知广东话 Siri 有几唔正常, 我要计时佢会弹 Timer 出黎, 我要上网 search 野佢会即刻 Google 俾我, 问知识问题会弹 WolframAlpha 俾我, 我想问你要求系咩? 睇得 Iron Man 个D太多?

2. 我用左部 iPhone 4 三年, 我可以 show System Diagnose 个页你睇, 冇一次弹 app 系因为唔够 RAM, 弹 app 唔一定系 RAM 唔够, iPhone 系会识自动分配更多 RAM 俾前台程式. 另外更多核心对你黎讲有用吗? 手机程式跟本未 optimize 到用到咁多 thread.

3. 你用电脑零件为例我就用番黎俾你睇, AMD CPU 好多都 4 核甚至 8 核啦, 但同 Intel Core i5/i7 比咪一样完败? 除左核心数量之外, 制程, 处理器架构等等都会影响 CPU 效能.

4. 你用"同埋我俾成7千蚊真系自己去黄金买都唔知买咗几多条2GB RAM番嚟..."黎做例真系贻笑大方, 你只系识用硬件成本去计算一部 iPhone 既价值, 殊不知 iPhone 系讲求软硬配合, 软件系非常重要既一环. 你咁样漠视左软件既存在价值法, 证明你本时都系用开翻版既人. 最后, 大可以去黄金买 7 千蚊两 GB RAM 番黎砌 iPhone.

5. 用左咁耐 SD Card Reader 从未有断线问题, 随非你买翻版.

6. iPad 未可以 handle 到咁高解像度, 如果你 import 入 iPhoto 再经 iTunes export 出黎, 解像度最高只有 2048 x 1536(以 iPad with Retina Display 计算). 如果 post PC era 真系 iPad 乜都做得到, 咁 Mac 系列可以收档啦可?

7. Facebook app 成日弹机: 我想问你几耐冇更新过 Facebook app, 详请唔多讲自己 check AppStore.

8. Youtube for iPad app 最高可以 support 720p video, 如果你有良好连线例如 LTE/Wi-Fi 的话.

9. iPad 上面都可以 download Google Map app 黎用, 我想问 Apple 如果发现你用 Google Map 系咪会 lock 住部机黎逼你用 Apple Map?

10. 你话 Passbook 系危急关头搞到你上唔到机系咩事, Sensor detect 唔到 barcode? 如果系咁你应该投诉间航空公司而唔系 Passbook 本身.

11. 无端死机 folder 乱啧简直系废 up, iCloud 系会自动记录 apps 既放位自动回复番.

12. iTunes 唔 user-friendly 真系O晒嘴, 自从更新左 iTunes 11 之后又快又顺, Windows 版亦好快, 用 Wi-Fi 连 iTunes 根本上会自动备份, 唔开 iTunes 都有 iCloud 每日自动备份, 完全唔洗理 backup 既问题, 我想问 unfriendly 系边?

13. 你咁肯定就 MacRumor, 9to5Mac 个D唔洗做啦, 有你系到估咪得lor? 试问有边间厂可以用咁既价钱做到 all day powerlife? 相信真系唔多. 而且 11 吋 MBA 可以用同一价钱买到 128GB SSD(原本得 64 GB), 13 吋就减左价, 仲用埋 PCI-E based 既 SSD, 读写速度同其他厂用 RAID 0 既 SSD 有得比.

生活在理想世界真好

Market share is more than Apple, it is coz there are many cheap unprofitable so-called smartphones in the android world.  Many android smartphones are sold at crazily low price with almost no profit at all.

Apple has 0 % market share in netbook in 2010, so what ? Apple ipad killed all netbooks in 2013. Big market shares doesnt mean u can last long .  Making the best quality products makes a company like Apple to stay long and become the winner in the end.
Dont u know Apple is the most profitable phone makers in the world.  Apple profit = GOOGLE + ALL android phone makers profit combined?

One thing i am sure Android is more and the most is Malware and virus and poor people. Is that what android proud of?

I disagree with the "冇一样嘢做得好" statement. But I'll elaborate on that towards the end of my post. Even before Siri, the Voice Control was sufficiently useful for me in such a way that I use it almost everyday.  To each his own I guess, but a lot of my friends use it regularly.  I also use Google's voice control regularly. I agree.  The way they're doing it right now is sending the voice over to their servers where it's being transcribed.  Unfortunately that's not the suitable use-case for dictation, you need instant feedback immediately to know whether the machine understood your previous word. Web Services, like maps and voice dictation, needs to be used and continuously improved.  That's why google keeps pushing out "Beta" software, and keep them as "Beta".  I think that's something that Apple cannot keep developing by themselves.  Remember .Mac? that's the result of them developing web-services in closed doors.  So I'm glad that they're letting somethings out, because web services is something that Apple is not (and never been) traditionally good at. With the exception of facebook app (which I took at look at the crash log and there seem to be a bug revolving the stuffs they load upon view appearing), I haven't had a lot of apps crash, and I'm rocking an iPhone 4. that's a lot of specification mentality there.  You can get a lot of 2GB of ram for the price of any smartphone nowadays, but how much do you want to pay developers to develop software that works as well as Android or iOS? How much do you want to pay for hosting all iTunes Music / Video and iOS apps to keep the eco system going? iPad is very very very clearly a consumer-grade device.  With Job's analogy, the PCs are the trucks and tablets are cars.  No matter how you cut it, if you want to do aperture / lightroom style photo-finishing with raw images you'll need something more powerful.  Just like if you want to move a piano, you use a truck, not a car, so if you're editing a 4K video you'll be hard pressed to find any consumer grade tablet suitable for the task.
That being said, for normal usage, browsing the web, reading books, sharing, light-gaming, a little word processing, excel, etc, my girlfriend no longer needs to carry her laptop, and she never really need to worry too much about battery life.  That's an improvement, no? (and I do occasional web development on there). Like I said, right-too-for-the-right-job bro.  Use a Nexus 7, and you'll have the same thing.  The form factor isn't inheridly capable of having as much ram as a computer that can handle raw photographs from 24 megapixels in full force.  That's the tradeoff. My experience with iPad 2 is a lot better than original iPad.  Not sure which iPad you're referring. Why don't you try Vimeo? Some of the clips that youtube had on there really originates from something like 320p.... (I know, because I watch some of those on my Apple TV on 37" screen, with the full understanding that the original clip was THAT bad) I think it's time to tell you that there are other mapping apps on iPhone.  I switch between Apple maps and Google Maps for driving navigation from time to time, but I like that Google knows that I searched for a location on desktop and list that on Google Maps app when I launched it.  
Don't get too obsessed with one brand of technology and keep your eyes open would be my recommendation. I think you know perfectly well why they had to do that. So I won't elaborate. How did that happen? care to share details? Passbook is an open architecture (which is quickly adapted by Samsung, of all people), that simply let the server send out credentials information that can be over-the-air updated.  So when I attend a class at Assemb.ly HK, when I'm near the location, the pass shows up on my lock screen and stays there.  If I slide to unlock the pass appears and the screen is shown as full brightness and screensaver disabled to make sure the QR Code is shown.  I've also done that for ChinaAir on Trip to Taiwan.  So I'm wondering under what circumstances did that not work for you. I really don't use iTunes that often.  But Stuffs are backed up just fine. Pretty sure that's a manufacturing issue.  I'm sure they also have a 80" Retina Display for Mac Pro in the lab, but can they make it in high volume and in such a way that it make sense for them to mess-produce, that's where Industrial Design comes in: the design of the manufacturing process.
Apple had Retina display in their hand way earlier than the release of iPhone 4, and they can probably make hundreds, maybe thousands, of them if they want, but they were in no way prepared for mass manufacturing.  You look at Apple's products now, almost all of them are back-ordered when they're released, which means that Apple needs to have the manufacturing process nailed down before they launch anything. hm.... I'd gladly trade double the battery life for any upgrade of CPU, because I code all day, and most of the time I need the machine to stay on a lot longer rather than run a lot faster when it's on.  I'm sure a lot of people who does words and excel and xcode and php and rails all day would feel the same.  Hell, I do Photoshop works from time to time and right now I'm rocking a Core 2 Duo and wanted to under-clock the CPU to get more battery life.
I'd also trade computation power for lightness.  But that's just me. You have different priorities.

I'm not positive on this, but I think it's because they wanted it to be rotatable so that you can simply rotate the thing to plug your stuffs in, which if true would be very convenient.

To be fair, nobody who's in the market for Mac Pro cares about how it looks like.  Not even John Siracusa, who's been crying for a Mac Pro, so much so that the whole internet is joking about how Tim Cook was speaking to him when he said there'll be something for those who're in the market for the Mac Pro. You know what I hated at home? The JVC logo that stares at me when I'm staring at my TV.  But hey, to each his own. I personally don't have a lot of negativity for the icons.  I've seen enough beta to know that icons actually can change from Beta to Beta because those design aren't important to and doesn't affect developers.

Remember, Ive took over design of the software side 7 months ago.  Every aspect of the iOS interaction has been changed, including the APIs (yes, the APIs, the stuffs that Developers uses).  No matter how you cut it, if you've been involved with any software change (be it design or implementation), 7 months is a ridiculous deadline, and of course we are talking about a Beta software that is not meant to be released just yet. My suggestion is to take a chill pill, relax, breath, remember to breath, and of course, get yourself off of iOS platform.  After watching the design sessions of WWDC I'm liking the design metaphors more and more.  There's a lot of things that existed on Windows Phone and WebOS (Palm, remember palm?), and not a lot of android, in iOS 7 design, but the interaction is pretty unique between app and the OS, and I am excited on how the OS interacts with the apps now on technology that I cannot comment about (NDA and all). So you're commenting on Apple as an investor or as a user?
When your stuffs doesn't live up to expectation, you apologise.  Apple does that.  Tim Cook Does that.  Steve Jobs did that a number of times.  No surprise there.  I've been watching the industry long enough to see Jobs do what's required of him, like issuing apologies, like working out ways to work with Microsoft, like working out licensing deals with amazon, creative, etc. There are a couple of things to know here.  First off, Airdrop, if you've used that to transfer files between Mac OS X devices, is pretty great.  It's a p2p-wifi technology that put a lot of design concern on privacy.
Secondly, I think Beaming is great too.  I think beaming technology is a little fragmented though especially when Samsung (being the biggest android distributer) is pushing their own beaming technology.
Third, I like that Apple's making small jabs on the competitors, they stopped a little bit after the "I'm a mac" campaign, but I like that, it shows that they're annoyed.  That little bit of annoyance is I believe necessary to drive them to work harder.  

I personally don't mind it as just another way for me to transfer files between iOS devices, even though we already have iMessage that does it pretty well in my opinion. You still use facebook or whatsapp or whatever the hell you use.  iMessage is there and I still use whatsapp.  Apple's applications aren't going to replace all the 3rd party apps (though they did that for a good number of 3rd party apps during WWDC).  It's just another way of doing things.

I haven't tried it out yet, but I suspect that it'll be like this: you specify you want to send this image via airdrop, and anyone around you can turn on airdrop (an app or a mode) to be seen by you.  The Wifi would be P2P, so it'll just work between the people close to you.  You can select the friends you want to send files to, and just press send and then put your phone back in the pocket.  Once the file's finished sending the P2P wifi connection will automatically close. I'll call your bluff on that.  There's no way in a million years that an Apple genius would comment on Beta / unreleased software, especially one that you're supposedly on NDA with.  installation of iOS7 requires a developer program, and is intended for developers and never intended for your primary phone.  It's for the developers to start getting familiar with the design, the new SDK, the new APIs etc.  It'll be slow as fuck.  It's not polished.  Things will break.  Things will change between Beta.  That's how Beta is supposed to work.

DO NOT INSTALL ON YOUR PHONE IF THAT'S YOUR ONLY PHONE.  PLEASE FOR YOUR OWN GOOD DONT DO IT. I love Pure Android.  I also like Windows Phone. You're perfectly within your right to express your opinion, and I do with mine.

I don't think Tim's perfect, and I love Jobs, but I think Tim is better at using the people who're better at stuffs than he is.  He's an operations guy, and he defers to Eddie Cue for cloud services, he defers to Phil for marketing, and he defers to Hair force One and Ive for Software, and Ive for Industrial Design.

I love that Apple's still making a small amount of products, they seem to be the only company that does that, and I like the focus.

Not to say that Tim can do no wrong, but your statement "冇一样嘢做得好" isn't fair, and a tad extreme.  That's my opinion and I hope I'm entitled to voicing them.
